Writer - a stage version of my satirical TV comedy drama entitled IN DEVELOPMENT, about a fictional NGO in a developing country, had its debut in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 2nd December 2023 (director: Chas Hamilton)

This powerful film explores what went wrong in the case of Dr Sridharan Suresh, a highly respected consultant anaesthetist with an exemplary track record who, in 2018, was accused of inappropriately touching a young female patient shortly after she had undergone a dental procedure. Mistakes made in the handling of this case - by the NHS Trust, the police, social services and the GMC - led to an avoidable tragedy.
INAPPROPRIATE PRACTICE
Writer. This 2-part whistleblower drama for Back to Front Films features three strong female leads. It has scored 9.8/10 on the WeScreenplay professional coverage site and is currently with Rainmaker Content
TUTOR/MENTOR 2018 - 2024
From 2019 - 2021 I ran regular Euroscript events for writers, in a room above a pub in central London (or online during lockdown). These take the form of an informal chat with an invited guest writer, producer, director or agent and include pitching sessions, where three emerging writers in the audience deliver pre-prepared pitches for their projects in 90 seconds (elevator pitch-style) to a panel of professionals and get instant feedback.
WRITING FOR BBC TV & RADIO
I've written 28 episodes of EASTENDERS, 5 episodes of DOCTORS and 2 episodes of HOLBY CITY for TV.
I've also written two afternoon plays & three 15 minute plays for Radio 4, and one drama-doc feature for Radio 3.
